The Power of We!
Weston Challenge for VCS

2024-25 Distinguished Alumni Winner – Deanna Everson
We believe in ‘The Power of We.’

The Power of We provides the gift of opportunity for Valley Catholic students. The Power of We builds community and enables VCS students to find success.

This power is realized in the 2024-25 VCS Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Deanna Everson ’97. Deanna credits the Valley Catholic community for helping her blaze her own trail, provide opportunities for many people, build a successful and sustainable business and raise a lovely family.

“If I didn’t have the relationships I built at Valley Catholic, I wouldn’t be open as a business. My first clients were people from Valley Catholic.”

-Deanna Everson ’97, Founder Ginger and Maude Hair Salons

Currently, 1 in 4 VCS students rely on tuition assistance. By giving to the Weston Challenge for VCS, your generosity directly supports more than 250 students, providing them with a faith-filled education, lifelong friendships, and inspiring teachers.

Also by supporting the Weston Challenge, every dollar raised for tuition assistance will be matched by the OCF Joseph E. Weston Foundation, up to $115,000. Together, We can raise $230,000 to make Valley Catholic’s exceptional education and this amazing community accessible to more students.

This tradition of giving, like our enduring blue plaid, reflects the strength of our community. The Weston Challenge ends Sept. 15, but do not wait! Make your gift today and give VCS students the gift of opportunity.
