Nominate a Distinguished Alumni and Emerging Leader Today
Inspired by the success of our Valiant athletes on the field and court this year, the Alumni Advisory Committee has chosen the theme “Champion of Your Community” for the 2026-27 Distinguished Alumni Award.
We are looking for nominations for alumni of St. Mary of the Valley and Valley Catholic who make meaningful contributions in their professions, neighborhoods, and communities while living out the core values of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon:
We are also looking for nominations for the Valley Catholic Alumni Emerging Leader Award. This award recognizes one Valley Catholic School alumna/us who has graduated in the last 15 years and shows promise as a leader in their field. Alumni from the classes of 2011-2026 are eligible.

The Distinguished Alumni and Emerging Leader Awards are presented by Valley Catholic School, the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon Foundation and the Alumni Advisory Committee. The awards are presented to SMV and VCS graduates who excel in their life’s work, demonstrate a high standard of personal integrity, strive for excellence, and live a valiant life. Both awards are presented annually during the VCS Gala and Catholic Schools Week.
