Oregon law requires extra precautions and restrictions on the use of pesticides on a school campus. The Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Integrated Pest Management Program provides guidelines to help schools protect children from the potential toxic effect of pesticides.

Low-Impact Chemical List

In accordance with state law, Valley Catholic only uses low-impact pesticides that meet the state guidelines set by the Oregon Department of Agriculture. Below is a list of the low-impact pesticides that are used on the school’s campus.

VCS will follow the ODA Guidance on Low-Impact Pesticides for any pesticides that the school considers adding to this list.
