Year-end giving is the perfect time to explore non-cash giving options. Upcoming tax law changes may affect donors who itemize their deductions. Beginning in 2026, only gifts above 0.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) will be deductible. For example, with an AGI of $200,000, the first $1,000 of giving will not qualify for a deduction next year — but it will this year.
Make your non-cash gift by Dec. 16. This will allow for processing time – ensuring that it benefits your 2025 tax return.
