Maryville Skilled Care is one of just three care centers in Oregon to win the COVID-19 Mitigation Medal for the fourth quarter of 2022.
The medal recognizes vigilance and excellence in infection control and prevention efforts at long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) centers across a five state region. In all, 15 centers across were recognized for their accomplishments.
“We are honored by this recognition from Comagine Health,” said Kathleen Parry, administrator. “I am very proud of the loving and skilled care our staff provides to all of our residents and continue to be impressed by their tireless dedication to the health and safety of our resident and each other.”
Medal winner were determined based on the percentage of current residents who received their primary vaccination, the booster rate of current residents, and staff vaccination rates.
