Jessie Le Grand
First Grade Teacher
First Grade Teacher | Jessie is a Valley Catholic Alum (class of ’05) who is pleased to be rejoining the Valley Catholic community as a first grade teacher. She has been teaching since 2011. Her undergrad was spent at University of Oregon studying developmental psychology and at Pacific Northwest College of Art where she completed her BFA in sculpture. She discovered her love of teaching while working for a local nonprofit, Fine Art Starts. Jessie taught art for many years before transitioning to classroom teaching. She completed her master’s degree in Teaching at Marylhurst University and earned her ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement. She is deeply passionate about supporting students and finding new ways to help them grow.
Outside of the classroom, Jessie loves making and showing art. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy, their daughter Nina, and their cat Biscuit.
