Charlie Duval
English Teacher
English | Charlie Duval joined Valley Catholic Middle School in 2026 through the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE) program at the University of Portland, where he is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching. Charlie earned his bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fullerton, where he taught theatre in the Fullerton School District.
Charlie grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, in a family of educators who fostered his appreciation for learning, creativity, and the transformative role teachers play in students’ lives. He encourages students to approach learning with curiosity, confidence, and an open mind.
Outside of school, Charlie enjoys performing, playing basketball, and hiking.
