The Valley Catholic Charisma Dance Team won two state titles in both the traditional and jazz categories at the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) State Championships held in Salem, Oregon. Charisma has been a dominant force in Oregon high school dance for many years, but their 2023 season has been exceptional. The team’s dedication, hard work, and talent were on full display at the OSAA state championships, where they put on electrifying performances that left the audience in awe. On May 9, both VCMS Principal Jennifer Gfroerer and VCMS teacher, Yvonne Ayesiga, VCMS STEMinar teacher, received their Doctorate degrees in Education Research Learning and Leading at a graduation ceremony at University of Portland.
