Janis Rooker

Float Teacher | Ms. Janis has been working at VCELS for 4 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona. She loves to incorporate music and dance into each day. Previously, Janis stayed at home with her three daughters who have moved on to college and professional careers. She has coached and managed soccer teams, led Girl Scout troops, supported youth theater, and volunteered at schools.
She loves Diet Coke and summer. In her free time, Ms. Janis enjoys dining out with her husband, watching musical theater, rooting on her favorite soccer teams, hanging with her two dogs, and traveling.
