Janis Rooker

Float Teacher | Ms. Janis joined VCELS in 2023 as a preschool teacher. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in musical theatre from the University of Arizona. Before teaching preschool, Janis was busy being a stay at home mom with her three daughters who have moved on to college and professional careers. She has coached and managed soccer teams, lead three Girl Scout troops, worked backstage for numerous theatrical productions, and has volunteered hundreds of hours in her daughters’ classrooms. She loves musical theater, soccer, spending time with her husband and two dogs, and traveling.
