Chess Wizards

Chess Wizards offers challenging chess lessons, group activities, tournaments and more. Students who are new to chess will learn the basics and begin playing right away. Experienced players will learn new strategies and creative approaches to the game. All experience levels are welcome.

Taekwondo

Coding with Kids

Scratch Game Development
Grades: 3–5
Schedule: Wednesdays, 2:50–3:50 p.m.
Dates: Sept. 23–Dec. 9
No class: Nov. 11 and Nov. 25
Cost: $260 for a 10-week session

Unleash your creativity with Scratch, a fun drag-and-drop coding tool. New students will learn coding basics such as loops and variables, while returning students will explore advanced concepts, including functions and game physics. Students will build games, animations and story projects such as Greedy Birds.

Little Coders: Introduction to Coding

Grades: K–2
Schedule: Thursdays, 2:50–3:50 p.m.
Dates: Sept. 24–Dec. 10
No class: Nov. 26
Cost: $285 for an 11-week session

Designed for early readers, this course helps students strengthen their computational thinking skills while having fun with friends. Beginners will learn coding basics such as loops and conditions. Returning students will take on new challenges, including debugging. All students will build games, stories and animated characters.

Fine Art Starts

Schedule: Thursdays, 2:50 to 3:50 p.m.
Fall session: Sept. 17 through Dec. 17
Full school year: Sept. 17 through May 27

The Tuesday class is full for the 2026–27 school year. Please register for the Thursday class.

Students will balance their own ideas with engaging fine arts instruction in drawing, painting and clay. Please send a snack with your child on class days. Financial assistance applications and payment plans for the full school year are available.

Play.Fit.Fun.

Play.Fit.Fun.

Grades: All students welcome
Schedule: Fridays, 2:50–3:50 p.m.

Play.Fit.Fun. gives students an active and engaging way to end the school week. Students will meet their Play.Fit.Fun. coach in the gym immediately after school for organized games, movement, challenges and active play.

The program combines elements of physical education, field day and team building in a positive and encouraging environment. Activities are designed to help students build fitness, teamwork, confidence, leadership and focus while having fun and staying active.

Running Club

Hogie & Murphy Milers is a fun, noncompetitive after-school running club for students in grades 3–5. Led by Mr. Hogencamp and Mr. Murphy, the club helps students stay active, build confidence, make friends and enjoy running in a positive, encouraging environment. Students will also receive small goodies and rewards during club sessions!

Come stretch, wiggle, breathe, and play in this fun kids yoga class. Led by a certified kids yoga teacher, children will explore silly poses, calming breaths, and mindful movement. Along the way, kids will boost confidence, practice self-regulation, build focus, strengthen their bodies, and grow important motor and social-emotional skills — all while having fun!

Yoga mats and all materials are provided. Join our fun yoga class full of movement and mindful fun!
