First Grade Instructional Assistant | Amy Andrus joined Valley Catholic in 2022 as a First Grade Instructional Assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Cincinnati. Amy moved to Portland in 1995 where she met her husband, Derek, who is also part of the VCES family. Derek volunteers at the elementary school one day each week helping to serve lunch. Their son, Finnegan, is a 10th grader here at VCHS. In her free time Amy enjoys writing and reading, baking, traveling, seeing live music, the ballet, and making new memories with her beloved family and friends. Amy is very happy to share this time at Valley Catholic with her whole family and appreciates the warmth and kindness from the entire VCES community.
