Kelsey Griswold
Learning Specialist and Support Coordinator
Learning Specialist and Support Coordinator | Kelsey Griswold is excited to serve as the Learning Support Coordinator and Learning Specialist at Valley Catholic Elementary. She first joined the Valley Catholic in 2014 and spent 11 years teaching first-grade and kindergarten.
Kelsey grew up in Portland, attending All Saints School and Central Catholic High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Special Education from the University of Oregon in 2013, followed by her master’s degree in Elementary Education with an English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsement in 2014. In 2025, Kelsey completed the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education’s Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Training and continues to expand her expertise in the science of reading.
Outside of school, Kelsey loves spending time with her husband, James, and their daughter, Maisie, who is also a proud member of the Valley Catholic community.
