Our SSMO Campus IT Team, Chief Information Officer Dale Goodno and his team of CJ Ceria, Sharon Drake, and Ben Karlin were honored today with the SSMO Spirit Award. SSMO Superior General Sr. Michael Francine Duncan, SSMO Ministries Corporation President Sr. Adele Marie Altenhofen, and Valley Catholic President John Matcovich presented the team with the award.
Typically, this award would be given to Valley Catholic teachers or staff who exemplified the core values of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon and went above and beyond for Valley Catholic. This year was anything but typical, and the IT Team definitely went above and beyond to help keep not just Valley Catholic, but the whole campus, connected and running smoothly.
Valley Catholic teachers and staff expressed their gratitude for the tremendous support they received as they transitioned to digital and hybrid teaching in the past year in this tribute video.
The IT Team was also featured in an article in the Catholic Sentinel which highlighted their essential and outstanding support.
