About the panelists:
Christel Turkiewicz, CRPC, CDFA
Principal Wealth Manager
Christel holds multiple degrees and certifications in accounting and finance. She has been with Northwest Investment Counselors since 2010, and has worked in the investment industry for more than 20 years.
Christel has been an active volunteer in the Portland Community where she shared her time and expertise with many local organizations including Holy Family Catholic School, Youth Progress Association, Start Making a Reader Today (SMART), and Financial Beginnings.
Alex Dole, CFA
Portfolio Manager
Alex earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2011. He graduated cum laude from Bucknell University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science.
He joined Northwest Investment Counselors in 2014 as the Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Alex is a member of the firm’s investment committee and oversees trading, research, and day-to-day management of client bond portfolios.
During his time at Bucknell, Alex was a four-year member of the men’s varsity golf team. He volunteers his time with the Forest Park Conservancy.
Michelle Castano Garcia
Principal Wealth Manager
Michelle holds several securities licenses and trust certifications along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Economics from the University of Oregon.
She has been with Northwest Investment Counselors since 2013 and has worked in the investment and finance industry for more than 30 years.
She volunteers her time and expertise with many local organizations including Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon, Valley Catholic High School, Legacy Health Foundation and Legacy Meridian Park Hospital.
