10th and 11th grade Counselor | Megan Schmidt is a school counselor at Valley Catholic. She was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She started her educational career as a Kindergarten teacher and then a Director of a school age child care facility. Ms. Schmidt earned her master’s degree in School Counseling from George Fox University in 2013.  Since her graduation, she has worked for the Beaverton School District. Outside of school, Ms. Schmidt enjoys dancing, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband and her two furry pups, Ollie and Porter!
