First Grade Teacher
First Grade Teacher | Mattison Wade grew up in Oregon and attended VCS. She has returned in 2024 as a first grade teacher at VCES. Mattison earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and her master’s in Reading Education from Grand Canyon University. She has taught 4th grade and served as a long-term substitute in 1st grade. Mattison loves to teach and watch students grow. When she is not at school, she enjoys baking, traveling, playing sports, reading, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
