Religion and Art | Matlin Anderson joined the Valley Catholic family in 2021 as the 7th grade religion teacher and teaching art electives. Earning her Bachelor’s of Elementary Education from Washington State University and her M.Ed. from George Fox University, she is passionate about teaching and has taught many subjects and grade levels over the years.

Matlin grew up attending St. Francis Catholic Church in Sherwood, attending and eventually leading Sunday school, assisting VBS, and regularly attending Mass. She is excited to join the religion department to spread the message of Christ. In her free time, she gets lost in books and movies, walks her dogs Billy and Remington, and spends time with family and friends.
