
Jamie Lytle
Director of Student Activities
Director of Student Activities, 6th grade Team Lead, Social Studies Department Chair | Jamie Lytle is the 6th Grade Social Studies teacher. She is also the 6th Grade Team Lead, Social Studies Department Chair, and Director of Student Activities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies (Education) from the University of California, Riverside. After graduating, she began her career in Los Angeles, teaching 3rd and 4th grade. She later moved to Chicago, where she taught writing to middle school students and earned her master’s degree in Education from Dominican University. Since then, Jamie has taught 8th-grade English in San Diego for four years and 6th-grade Social Studies in Chicago. Outside the classroom, Jamie enjoys reading all kinds of books, swimming, watching Netflix, and spending time with her fun-loving pug, Frances. She also loves visiting her family and friends in her hometown of Fairfield, California.
