Violin, Viola, Guitar, Ukulele | Music has been an important part of Emily’s life since she began playing violin at age 8. During high school, she started teaching private violin lessons and quickly discovered a passion for helping students grow in both skill and confidence. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music in 2007, which included Suzuki Violin Teacher Training under certified Suzuki instructors at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.

From 2007–2019, Emily taught orchestra, band, general music, and mariachi in Las Vegas while also maintaining a private studio teaching violin, viola, guitar, and ukulele lessons. In 2019, she joined Valley Catholic as the elementary music teacher, where she taught K–5 general music, prepared and led music for school Masses, taught all 4th grade students to play violin, directed the 1st – 5th grade youth orchestra, led the 4th and 5th grade choir, and conducted the 5th grade handbell ensemble.

Emily is passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can develop strong musical foundations, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
