Librarian and Social Studies Department Chair | Andy Haugen joined Valley Catholic’s faculty in the fall of 2015. He is the Middle School and High School librarian, in addition to teaching ninth grade global studies and being the head JV2 blue boys basketball coach. He has a B.A. in History (2011) and a M.A.T (2013) from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, and received his M.A in History from Arizona State University. A 2007 graduate of Valley Catholic High School, he helped the Valiants boys basketball team win their first-ever OSAA state championship. He then went on to play basketball for four years at Pacific University. Outside of academics, Andy enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and going to the beach. He is chairman of Citizens Participation Organization 10.
