Alex Tieu

Teacher | Ms. Alex began her teaching journey at VCELS two years ago as a Daffodil 2 teacher. She grew up in the Hillsboro area where shed attended catholic school from K-8th grade. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University majoring in human development and family sciences, with minors in psychology and public health.
Ms. Alex welcomed her son Everett in November 2024 and has been busy navigating motherhood but loving every minute of it. Though her free time is limited, she does enjoy playing pickleball, golfing, baking, and spending time with her husband and their dog Dash. As a family they love being outdoors and traveling when time allows.
