The Holy Souls in Purgatory

On Nov. 1, we celebrate all the amazing saints in heaven — the ones the Church honors through canonization or beatification. Pope Francis reminds us that the Beatitudes are a wonderful “path to holiness.” So, the Solemnity of All Saints is a perfect time to think about them and what they mean for us.
Enjoy this special day!

Nov. 2 is also a special day for us to come together in prayer and remembrance. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that our prayers can help those in purgatory find peace and prepare them for the joy of being with God in heaven. It is a beautiful reminder of how we are all connected, even beyond this life.

Praying for those who have passed is truly a privilege, and it is nice to think that, when our time comes, others will hold us in their hearts and prayers, too.

Let’s pray for our loved ones today.
