Teacher-Librarian: Mrs. Jasperson

Shauna Jasperson began teaching at Valley Catholic School in September of 2000. She moved into the librarian position in September of 2004. She sees each of the students in kindergarten through fifth grade once a week for library class. Shauna grew up in the Portland area, attending Catholic schools from first through twelfth grade. She attended Oregon State University and Portland State University (PSU), graduating from PSU in 1981 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. In 2005, she returned to PSU, completed classes in the library media program, took the required state exam, and added a library media endorsement to her elementary education license. Shauna and her husband, Mike, have lived in Beaverton since 1989. They have four children, three of whom attended Valley Catholic High School.
