It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is here. During the past few weeks we have been enjoying the talents of Valley Catholic students through music and choir concerts, playoff and state championship athletic competitions, one act plays, art fairs and other opportunities for our students to shine.

STEM Project Lands Valley Catholic Middle School in the News
|
Valley Catholic sixth and seventh graders recently wrapped up their STEM final by designing prosthetics for a paralyzed dog — a project that gained attention from several local news outlets, including KPTV, KATU and KOIN. Using teamwork, creativity and engineering skills, students created functional prototypes aimed at improving mobility for the young labradoodle. The project gave students a hands-on opportunity to explore how science, technology and compassion can work together to solve real-world challenges.

VCMS Class of 2025 Honored at Sending Ceremony

Valley Catholic Middle School celebrated the Class of 2025 during the annual Sending Ceremony. Families, faculty and friends gathered to recognize the achievements and growth of this year’s eighth graders as they prepare for the next chapter in high school. It was a joyful and heartfelt celebration of their time at VCMS

Fifth Graders Leads End-of-Year Prayer Service
|
Valley Catholic fifth graders led a thoughtful end-of-year prayer service, offering reflections, prayers, and music to bring the school community together in gratitude and hope. The students’ leadership and faith-filled presence provided a meaningful close to the academic year.

Spirit Magazine Spring/Summer 2025 Edition
|
The latest issue of Spirit magazine is now online and celebrates the Jubilee year across the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon campus. This special edition highlights milestone moments, including the 30th anniversary of Valley Catholic High School’s first co-ed graduating class, a look back at the legacy of the Charisma Dance Team coaches, and a tribute to this year’s Jubilarians — eight Sisters whose lives reflect more than 500 years of collective service.

VC Early Learning School Move-Up Day Celebration

Valley Catholic Early Learning School marked a joyful milestone with its annual Move-Up Day celebration. Families gathered as students were recognized for their growth and accomplishments throughout the year. From infants to preschoolers, each child was celebrated as they prepared to transition into their next classroom.
