With the school year off to an enthusiastic start, we are already looking ahead to next school year with our upcoming Open House events. On Sunday, Oct. 26, Valley Catholic High School will welcome prospective new students and their families from 1 – 4 p.m. The following Sunday, Nov. 2, the Early Learning and Elementary Schools will host their Open Houses from noon – 2 p.m.
VC Early Learning School Honors St. Thérèse of Lisieux
Valley Catholic Early Learning School celebrated the 100th anniversary of St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s canonization with a day of prayer, song, and reflection. Originally known as Little Flower School in her honor, VCELS marked the milestone by placing flowers at a special altar in the lobby. The Sisters joined students in honoring St. Thérèse, creating a joyful tribute to “our Little Flower.”
Together, the students prayed: “St. Thérèse, help me to always believe, as you did, in God's great love for me, so that I might imitate your ‘Little Way’ each day. Amen.”
