July is upon us and we thank our Lord each day for all the goodness He offers us. We enter ordinary time in the Church calendar with many wonderful Saints to celebrate. We especially honor Saint Junipero Serra, priest and patron of the Knights of Columbus on July 1. At the end of the month, on July 26, we have the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary. | | |  | 1st row seated, LtoR: Srs. Their 2025 Jubilee honors Sisters Elizabeth Sohler, Theresa Hathaway, Marcella Parrish, Marilyn LeDoux, Elma Heesacker, Marie Bernadette George, Sara Goggin, and Theresa Lan Nguyen —women whose lives reflect decades of faith, compassion, and service to others. | | The Jubilee Mass and celebration will take place on Sunday, July 27, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel. While summer often means a change of pace and thoughts of vacation days, activities abound here at the Motherhouse. Gardens are tended and fruits and vegetables, that have been generously donated, are prepared for meals or canned. | | Recently, we also held the Installation Mass for the newly elected SSMO Leadership Team. The Mass took place on June 29. Right now, retreat days are upon us, July 5 - 11.
