Letter from the Superior General

Sister Michael Francine Vftd 683x1024
Superior General Sister Michael Francine

Welcome to June – a month that is packed full of Holy Days and special celebrations. The month starts with Ascension Sunday on June 1. On this special day we commemorate Jesus ascending into heaven to enter into full and final glory at the right hand of the Father. From His seat in heaven, Jesus intercedes for us and exercises His power over the whole universe. The following Sunday, June 8, is Pentecost. Pentecost recognizes the great event of the coming of the Holy Spirit 50 days after Easter.

Yet he seems to be more of a ‘citizen of the world’ than any pontiff before him.
