Dear Friends, Family, Sisters and Brothers,
November is an exciting time for the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon (SSMO). Several Sisters attended the Valley Catholic School Gala on Nov. 2. We are always so happy to see many of you at this annual event. November is the month when we remember our loved ones in a very intentional way.
In this season of All Saints and Thanksgiving, we’re inspired by the courage and sacrifice of our foundresses, who answered Christ’s call through lives of prayer, community, and service (SSMO Constitutions, Article 1). As we move into Thanksgiving, may we all seek “one more thing” from the Lord—a grateful heart.
Saturday’s Valley Catholic School Gala dinner and auction paid tribute to the extraordinary community spirit that embodies “Excellence in Everything; Opportunity for Everyone.”
