Dear Friends and Families,

I pray that you are all well as we head into August. We are looking forward to our Valley Catholic faculty and students returning to the SSMO campus for the new school year.

The Sisters are also looking forward to coming together on August 12 for SSMO Community Days. We will complete our meetings with missioning on the feast of the Assumption of Mary on August 15.

Dear Friends, Pilgrims of Hope,

This is my last Vocations Newsletter. Sr. Anna and I are stepping down and will no longer serve as the Vocation Directors for our Community. It has been a joy for us to serve in these roles and we are looking forward to the next chapter.

If you have questions about discernment to our Community, please contact Sr. Adele Marie and our Vocations Committee at [email protected].

Honor Your Legacy during Make-A-Will Month

This summer, we joyfully celebrated the Jubilees of eight Sisters whose lives have been devoted to prayer, ministry, and compassionate service. From classrooms to chapels, gardens to global journeys, their stories speak to 515 combined years of faith in action.

We invite you to continue honoring the Sisters’ legacy in education, health care and community outreach by making a will during National Make-A-Will Month. Creating a will is a powerful way to care for your loved ones and extend your values into the future. We have partnered with FreeWill to make the process simple, secure and free. Including the SSMO Foundation in your plans cost nothing today but supports the Sisters and their sponsored ministries for years to come.

Get started and make your will in just minutes for free today.
